Garden Design Lite is my quicker design service that aims to help if you just want a fresh perspective, new ideas and imagination that you can take forward and develop yourselves. You get some sketches and ideas but not a full garden design and is therefore suited to all budgets.
How it works..
The Lite service is all online, I don’t visit your garden which means I can help even if you live miles away from me. Instead, I ask that you send me photos, maybe a video walk-around, measurements and levels, some site information and answer some questions to get your client brief.
Once you pay for the package, you will be sent a link to a questionnaire and upload facility to send me all your information. You can also book an initial zoom chat.
During the zoom chat we go through your brief and then I go away and come up with 2 concept sketch ideas which I will send back to you within 72 hours. That is it. You can take those ideas and work on them yourselves or I can then develop the design into a final masterplan design, the cost of which would be advised. Or you could show the concepts to a local landscaper who can work with you to translate your preferred design on the ground.

“We contacted Jo to get some ideas for our garden whilst we are in the planning phase of an extension. We wanted to make sure the garden would work well with the house design.
We completed a questionnaire and sent through some photos of things we liked. We then had a zoom call with Jo (which was really easy to book through an online portal). During the call, it was clear that she had obviously already spent time reviewing what we had sent and researching soil type, sun conditions.

What you get in the Garden Design Lite Package
An initial 40min zoom conversation to go through what you sent me on the info gathering form, talk about your garden and agree your brief.
72 hour turnaround from the time of the zoom chat.
A digital PDF containing two hand-drawn concept ideas, notes on materials and planting ideas, and mood board images.
A video of me talking you through the ideas.
I record a zoom meeting and send you a link to a private space on my Google Drive.

Garden Design Lite Terms and Conditions
All measurements and dimensions are the responsibility of the client and the designer can only design using the information provided. The designer will endeavor to design with construction in mind, but cannot be held responsible for errors provided or subsequently found on site.
The 2 concepts are final and there are no changes included in the initial package.
The concepts are not to scale and will not include all measurements and therefore should not be used to construct from.
The product does not include a full planting plan, just suggestions based on the conditions described in the brief and through online sub soil research by the designer.
The product does not include a lighting plan.
PAYMENT: We will send you an invoice for the full amount, which must be settled before design work can commence.
Once the garden designs have been paid for and the product received there are no refunds offered.
On receipt of the completed client brief form and uploaded photos and measurements, the first zoom session meeting must be booked in within 7 days of purchase. Start dates for design are subject to availability and demand at the time of purchase. An immediate start cannot be guaranteed.
The 72 hour turnaround starts from the end of the first zoom call (Monday to Friday within business hours). This is a target which we will strive for but is subject to change if there are circumstances that prevent it but you will be informed if this occurs.
